Your Shiny New Exec

As you all should know, we at Pride held our AGM on Thursday, where our awesome new exec were elected.

A huge thankyou to all who attended and voted. You were all amazingly patient, amazingly co-operative and amazingly appreciated. A huge thankyou also to the old exec. All those snaps were well-deserved and we're all very proud of your work over the past year. Finally, thankyou to all who ran for positions, and a big well done to all who have joined the exec.

Your new exec now consists of:

President: Katie Mann
Secretary: Kat Shaw
Treasurer: Tom Ridley

Welfare and Equal Opportunities Officer: Ashley Hartnett
Co-Entertainments Officers: Davide Caramelli and Tom Faber
Campaigns Officer: Michael Rinaldi
Publicity Officer: Rich Young

Women's Rep: Clare O'Brien
Bisexual Rep: Cordelia Montes
Trans Rep: Lucy Davies
Undefined Rep: Sarah Beharry
Ethnic Minorites Rep: Astrid Bunberry

PG&M Rep remains our beloved Sophie, and International Rep and Asexual Rep will be open for co-option at a later date. Keep your eyes peeled if you'd like to run for either of these positions.

Also, the one and only motion proposed this year was passed, so we are proud to award Nicola Clitheroe honorary membership to Pride :-)

Here's to the awesome year ahead of us *raises glass*.

Wow! I don't know what to say apart from I wish i'd been there to hear the speeches and stuff but Congratulations to the rest of the Exec on their new positions, Katie is an excellent choice of president and I can see a good year up ahead for you all!

I've had some good moans on this forum in the past about bad atmospheres at general meetings, so I've got to say that the giant love-in was greatly appreciated! Lovely to see everyone getting on, and people happily willing to admit their strengths and weaknesses rather than have others snipe at them about such things.

Plus congrats to Niki
