Clubbing Socials

2cc59ef60bf698e2c67432760ca01605We do a variety of clubbing socials. Most often (on a Friday night) we head off to Rainbows, Coventry’s premier (and only) queer venue after meeting up at the Terrace Bar on campus. This event is well attended and a great opportunity to head away from campus into a clubbing environment with fellow Pride members. Usually once a term we travel further afield to venues such as Nightingales in Birmingham. Come and unwind with us at the end of the week!

We also love going along to club nights organised by the other Liberation Societies on campus, including WASS’s Can’t Touch This, which is specifically queer-positive, feminist, and body-positive. Other nights include the Salon (WARSoc) and PINK!, our very own LGBT+ clubnight in Leamington. This started in 2016 as a collaboration with a local clubnight promoter, and has even raised money for LGBT+ charities.

Please note that there will be at least one ‘duty exec’ present at all socials, including the clubbing socials. This member of the exec is a sober point of contact for you, should you need it. Please remember to bring your proof of age ID with you when attending these socials. If you’d like any more information, please contact the Events Officers at ents@warwickpride.org.
