Who we are

Warwick Pride is the student-run LGBTQUIA+ Society at the University of Warwick, established in 1971. This Privacy Policy helps you understand how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit or use this site, or otherwise communicate with us.

  • Contact details related to your university profile: Name, student ID, and email address if provided via SU membership or direct sign-ups in events
  • Communication data: Including information from your messages sent to us via channels such as our social media chats or emails to welfare
  • Device information: Including information about your device IP address, network connection, real-time location information, browser settings, browsing history and/or other Internet logged information.

Why We Collect Your Data

Depending on how you interact with us or which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the following purposes:

  • Membership: We use your personal information to manage society membership on the Students’ Union website as well as email communications. 
  • Marketing and communications: We use your personal information for promotional purposes, such as promotional emails detailing events overviews. 
  • Support: We use your personal information to provide you with welfare support, campaigning / event updates, as well as be responsive to any queries you may have. 
  • Events: We use your personal information to ensure safe and inclusive events are run according to sign-up lists. 

Privacy, confidentiality and disclosure/usage of collected data

Privacy: Exec members ensure that all disclosures and identification stays strictly within the team, without sharing information with third parties without consent.
